16 Jul, 2026 - Stories That Touch

Some stories inform you. They teach you a fact, update your opinion, give you something to talk about at dinner. But every so often, a story does something different – it doesn’t just inform you, it touches you. It settles somewhere in your chest and stays there, quietly changing how you see a person, a moment, or even yourself, long after you’ve stopped reading.

I think we’ve become so used to consuming content quickly that we’ve lost patience for these kinds of stories – the slow ones, the tender ones, the ones that don’t resolve neatly by the end. We want summaries, takeaways, morals. But real stories are rarely that clean. They’re messy and unresolved, full of contradiction, the way real people and real lives actually are.

This is where I want to hold space for those stories – the ones that ache a little, that make you pause mid-scroll, that remind you that whatever you’re feeling right now, someone else has felt it too. Some will be mine. Some will belong to people I’ve met along the way, whose permission I’ll always ask before sharing. All of them will be true, in the way that matters most – emotionally, not just factually. If you’ve ever needed a story to remind you that you’re not alone in something, I hope you find it here.
